Modifier Groups
A Modifier Group is the question the till asks when an item is rung up — for example "Which milk?" — bundling related modifiers together with min/max selection rules.
Where to find it: Menu → Modifier Groups

The list shows each Group Name, the number of Modifiers it contains, and its Min/Max selection rule.
How a modifier group behaves at the POS
When a modifier group is assigned to an item, it automatically pops up at the POS when that item is rung up. The Min/Max rule decides what staff must do:
- Min 1 / Max 1 — staff must pick exactly one option (e.g. choose a milk).
- Min 0 / Max 1 — staff may pick one or skip.
- Min 0 / Max 3 — staff may pick up to three (e.g. choose sauces).
Add a modifier group

Add a group to an item
Open the item (Items) and use its Modifiers section to attach the group. The group then prompts automatically whenever that item is sold.
Import and export
The modifier import (on the Modifiers list) handles Modifiers and Modifier Groups together: each modifier row references a group by name, and groups that don't yet exist are created automatically with safe defaults (Min 0 / Max 1).
