Setup a new printer


Network Printer
  1. Make sure it is a network printer
    1. Cat-5 cable is used
  2. Check connections of the printer
    1. power is on
    2. ethernet cable is plugged and goes to the network:
      1. printer to wall to switch
      2. printer to switch
      3. printer to router
  3. Factory reset and get the IP address of the printer
    1. Turn off printer
    2. Hold reset button in the back for 10 seconds
    3. Keep holding the reset button while switch the power on
    4. wait until printer prints out information
  4. Look for the IP address in the print out (usually 192.168.x,x)
  5. Please provide the IP address to the agent along with the printer requirement. 
    1. If this printer is replacing another printer, please provide the name of the printer (Kitchen, Bar)
    2. If it's a new printer, please provide a new name and the item categories which should print to this printer.
