Sublists

Sublists are back-office folders that keep menu items, modifiers, and adjustments tidy. A plain folder is just for organising; the Auto-Modi type becomes a Modifier Group at the POS.

Where to find it: Menu → Sublists

The list shows each Sublist Name, its Members, and its Type.

The two kinds of sublist

A sublist has a type that decides what it does:

  • Standard folder — an ordinary back-office grouping for menu design. It can optionally push a Price Set or a Course onto everything inside it.
  • Auto-Modi — the modifier grid that becomes a Modifier Group at the POS, auto-prompting when the parent item is rung up.

Key distinction: every Modifier Group is a sublist, but not every sublist is a Modifier Group — only the Auto-Modi type is. A plain sublist is just a folder.
