# Can I Use My Own Hardware?
Depending on the age and technical specifications of the hardware we *may* be able to install Impos software onto your existing POS hardware. This will need to be approved on a case-by-case basis by our tech team. There is a $300 'BYO Hardware' fee per device, as we need to spend time to configure your hardware to work with Impos. Additionally, if something does go wrong with your existing hardware, Impos are not able to provide technical support for the faulty device.
We offer a range of hardware solutions, and all are excellently priced and come with an extensive manufacturers' warranty, which provides excellent peace of mind. As well, you have access to our 24-hour customer support, where our customer support technicians are experts in the hardware we sell.
